Locals heard shouts of “kill Muslims” and “white supremacy” before a teen was slashed with a knife near a Tesco shortly after 11pm.

The victim, 19, from southern Europe, was released from hospital yesterday after having an operation on his badly injured hands.

Denise said: “Vincent is not a terrorist. I have known him 40 years. He is caring and kind. “I will stand by him and I will still love him.” A man was last night in custody. ARRESTED Vincent Fuller TERRIFIED Denise Knox
