All aboard for cruise show

-

HAVE you decided that your next big holiday will be a cruise but don’t know where to start? Or maybe you’ve narrowed down your options and are not sure which one to pick?

On April 27, Barrhead Travel will be hosting its annual Cruise Show in its Oswald Street Superstore in Glasgow. It’s the perfect opportunity to discuss your options with cruising experts and enjoy a glass of bubbly at the same time.

On the day, experts from P&O Cruises, Cunard, Fred Olsen, Celebrity Cruises, MSC Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line and Princess will be on hand to answer questions about ships, itineraries and destinations. You’ll also be able to treat yourself to event-only discounts and deals.

There will be two talk theatres during the day, both hosted by cruising expert Gary Buchanan. For the last 30 years, the Scottish-born writer has contributed to Britain’s leading national newspapers and respected consumer magazines on a variety of cruising topics.

Gary has sailed the seven seas extensively and now spends almost five months a year aboard ships both large and small.

His first talk, from 11-11.45am, will be on European destinations. It will be aimed at people who have never cruised before. The 2.30pm talk will focus on exotic destinations.

In between the talks, you can treat yourself to food from Glasgow restaurant Chaophraya and The Balmoral Cocktail – brought to you by Stirling Gin and Fred Olsen. The first 100 people through the door will receive a 25 per cent off voucher* to use in Chaophraya at a later date.

This is the biggest event in the Barrhead Travel calendar – and it is always busy. You can head to Barrhead Travel’s website to register your interest and stay up-to-date with new announcements and receive early access to event-only offers.
