Wedding planner Lelian Chew has their cash to splash

Ten wedding dresses? Two wedding bands for the groom? The jewellery that Meghan Markle wore?

No request is too outrageous or expensive for the wealthy elite with big ideas and no budget.

“How they live, how they spend, the circles that they’re in – it’s hard for an average person to really comprehend that world,” says Lelian Chew.

She is a wedding planner for some of the richest couples in Asia, where a million dollars is the average spend.

In this jaw-dropping film, cameras follow Lelian as she plans three exclusive weddings.

From crystal chandeliers to gold-threaded outfits, no demand is too extravagant for Lelian, who prides herself on making a couple’s special day one to remember.

There’s Noel, 28, and Derek, 35, who wanted an outdoor overseas wedding, but are now hosting a traditional eight-course banquet in Hong Kong for up to 600 guests.

The change of plan is to please Noel’s mother – her parents are footing the bill, after all.

Meanwhile, Prairie, 31, and Roger, 33 are hiring out an entire five-star resort for a destination wedding in Bali.

The event will involve hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of stunning flowers and a mere four dress changes for the bride.

Lelian is also organising the wedding of Febyan, 26, and Angie, 25. Not content with just one ceremony, they will be hosting two lavish weddings – one at their vineyard in Italy and another over in Indonesia.

And it’s Angie who wants her walk down the aisle to be on water.
