Plans for a Rainie day
Spending time with baby Abi leads to some big decisions on the Square
After her actions last week, Kathy is suddenly keen to play peacemaker as she suggests to Max that she could supervise while Rainie babysits Abi.
Sadly, that’s a compromise that doesn’t please anyone as Max insists his ex isn’t allowed to see Abi at all, while Stuart blackmails Kathy into letting Rainie spend time alone with the little girl.
However, after Kathy gives Rainie her blessing to take Abi to the park, Stuart starts to have doubts of his own, admitting to Bex that his girlfriend is acting strangely.
Bex says he needs to trust her, but when Stuart later meets up with Ranie he makes a startling discovery that prompts the addict to put a plan of her own into action.
Stuart isn’t the only person visiting Bex for a chat, as she also has a heart to heart with Louise – but her dad Martin could be a less frequent visitor.
He’s busy doing more risky jobs for Ben, and ends up missing Bex’s mental health appointment after a pick-up with Tubbs spirals out of control. Sonia is later alarmed to find that her ex has been injured, but she’s also concerned about how his behaviour will affect their vulnerable daughter. It’s a big week for Tiffany, as she and Keegan make an announcement, before Whitney introduces her to Leo. He’s alarmed to realise they’ve met before, and when Tiffany questions his motives, it leads to a row between her and Whit.
Elsewhere, Chantelle and Gray’s plans for a night away are scuppered, and Linda is worried to learn that Mick has gone to see the doctor, leaving Mitch in charge of the pub. Iqra wonders when she’s finally going to meet Ash’s family.
