-

ANNAN ............ 5 BRECHIN ........ 2

ANNAN made two wins in a row since their horror 4-0 defeat at Elgin, romping it in a seven-goal thriller.

Boss Peter Murphy said: “Elgin was a horrible experience but that’s two wins since so I’m pleased with the reaction.”

Ross Crawford headed Brechin ahead but Nathan Flanagan equalised and with 12 minutes gone Scott McLean put Annan 2-1 up.

Crawford tapped in his second before McLean netted from the spot.

City’s Chris McLaughlin was shown a straight red for dissent and it was 4-2 when Jamie Walker struck.

Lewis McLear made it five but Annan team-mate Matty Douglas was sent off after fouling Emile N’Goy.

Brechin’s Mark Wilson said: “That is the third game running we have lost goals immediately after scoring and it has to stop.”
