FOR MORE GREAT ANALYSIS AND A CELTIC POSTER TURN TO OUR CUP FINAL PULLOUT

JAMES FORREST admits he needs his girlfriend to sort out his stockpile of winners’ medals.
The Celtic star is one of the most decorated players in the club’s history and he was thrilled to add No.18 to his colossal collection.
Forrest said: “I’ve got them all stacked up. I’ve got them set out nicely.
“It’s always good winning trophies with Celtic. It’s great to be able to add another one.
“My girlfriend actually sorted them out. I’ve started doing that just recently. I just had them in boxes so it’s good to see them like that.
“It’s 10 in a row and it’s unbelievable. It makes it even sweeter as this was the worst we’ve played but we’ve ground it out and the relief of winning is incredible.”
Forrest admitted Celtic needed another Barcelona-type display from Fraser Forster. The big keeper was inspirational – even if the rest of the Hoops side were off colour.
And Forrest said: “We didn’t turn up. The full day. Rangers had a good few chances and all the boys would say big Fraser was unbelievable.
“He won us that game. When Fraser is making big saves it gives confidence to the boys. We got that goal and we managed to hang on.”
Forrest reckons the victory over Premiership rivals Rangers can give them the upperhand in the title race.
He added: “The last couple of years it’s always worked out we won this cup and it gives us a boost to keep going for the rest of the season.” 09.12.2019
