I’m using AJ to KO Wilder

Fury ready to take champ’s sparring offer

-

TYSON FURY claims he’d “love” to take up Anthony Joshua’s offer to spar with him before his huge rematch with Deontay Wilder.

Joshua has offered to be part of Fury’s camp with his new trainer SugarHill Steward for his February 22 showdown with WBC heavyweight king Wilder.

Having reclaimed his WBA Super, IBF and WBO titles from Andy Ruiz, Joshua claimed he’d be happy to help his old rival.

He said: “Fury if you need me, if you need me for sparring? We’re going to fight one day. I sparred with Fury when we were kids anyway.

“I’ll go out to America to spar Fury to get him ready for this Wilder fight.”

Fury says he’d welcome Joshua’s assistance – and face him after he takes care of Wilder. He said on social media: “I just saw a video of Joshua on Sky Sports saying he’d love to come into my camp and I’d fight him quicker than Wilder. That’s for sure. “When I beat Wilder, I will fight you AJ no problem. “I’d really love to have you in camp for this fight and give Wilder a proper beating. I hope you mean it because I’d love to have you in training camp. Thanks very much and well done in your last fight, congratulations.”

Joshua is backing Fury to beat Wilder after their first fight a year ago ended in a controversial draw because the pair could then meet for the undisputed title.

But Joshua must first take care of mandatories andis expected to face the IBF’s No.1 contender Kubrat Pulev in May at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before fulfilling his obligations with the WBO.

The two-time world champ added: “I would like that fight with Fury because I think Fury would fight me faster than Wilder would.

“Fury might beat Wilder next time. I think Fury would fight me quicker than Wilder would, so if that’s the case, I want Fury to win.

“To have that fight here on British soil is mad. Can you imagine that?”
