The only belt Fury has is the one that holds up his pants

Wilder says he’ll rip Tyson’s head off

- BY DAVID ANDERSON

DEONTAY WILDER has told Tyson Fury he will “rip his head off” as he mocked the Gypsy King’s clams to be the lineal world heavyweight champion.

Wilder claims he is “the lion, the king of the jungle” and says he will prove it in their rematch at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on February 22.

The unbeaten WBC heavyweight king also vowed to end Fury’s claims to be the division’s No.1 because of his victory over Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.

The pair clashed at their head-to-head press conference in LA and Wilder goaded Fury, claiming his lineal title is all a load of nonsense that isn’t real.

Wilder, 34, said: “He goes around talking about how he has the lineal title, it’s makebelieve and fake. He has no belt except the one that holds his pants up now. That’s the only thing he has.

“Come February 22, that lineal b ****** t, it ends.

“All that talk before, it dies, it’s dead. This is a new beginning, this is unfinished business that I will finish. I will do exactly what I said I would do, I will knock him out.

“I’m the lion, the king of the jungle and come February 22, I’m going to rip his head off.

“I’m going to knock you through those ropes so you can really feel a WWE moment in real life.”

Fury famously rose from the canvas after being floored in the 12th round of their controversial draw and Wilder claims he gave him concussion.

“When you’ve got power, there ain’t no way around that,” said the Bronze Bomber. “You can’t prepare for power. The only thing you can do is hope that when it lands, it doesn’t do that much damage.

“I gave this man a concussion the first time. He don’t even know how he got on the ground or how he got up and ladies and gentleman, that is a concussion.”

Wilder, who is 42-0-1, also ridiculed Fury for switching trainers again and he has dumped Ben Davison and hired SugarHill Steward, nephew of the legendary Manny Steward, for the rematch.

The American said: “Why so many new trainers, why so many rotations? He rotates trainers like he does his drawers, every day changing, hiring, firing. “I’m sat here with the same old trainers and still to this day I have the same people. You don’t see me firing anyone. You don’t see me bringing anyone in, yet you’re supposed to be this great fighter.”

Fury, 31, who is 29-0-1, began his training camp at the start of the month and claims the lineal title is real.

He said: “Anyone who knows boxing knows its lineage goes back to the days of John L Sullivan right up to me today.”

This is unfinished business I will finish. I’ll knock him out
