Getting Intu debt
SHOPPING centre owner Intu’s stock-market value slumped to less than £70million yesterday, a day after it scrapped an emergency £1.5billion cash call.
Shares in the owner of Manchester’s Trafford Centre and Lakeside in Essex tumbled 20 per cent. While its shopping centre empire is worth £6.6billion, it’s lumbered with £4.5billion in debt.
