Teen says vile grooming gang can’t hurt any more girls

-

anonymity to speak exclusively to the Record, said she wanted the men to “rot in jail” and added that they deserved longer sentences.

But she said: “At least they can’t hurt any other girls now and I do feel some closure knowing they are in prison now.”

Jordyn said she had been at her lowest ebb when she was introduced to Hauberts, Aleksanders and Gindra through a school friend.

It was a period when her life was chaotic as she skipped lessons, went missing from home and had problems in her relationship with her dad.

The erratic behaviour was uncharacteristic for a girl who had been a model pupil, with dreams of becoming a lawyer.

The gang shoplifted lingerie and make-up for Jordyn as well as plying her with alcohol and cannabis.

They were dressed in designer clothes, drove fast cars and, when she ran away or played truant, they convinced her they were her port in the storm. They seized their opportunity to exploit her, grooming her with cigarettes, alcohol, cannabis and compliments and bought her a phone to contact them.

She said: “Their attitude changed overnight from zero to 100, from telling me I looked nice to saying they wanted sex with me.”

They plied her with fortified wine and vodka and, when she was helplessly drunk, they raped her.

She said: “I was so vulnerable. I had no confidence or self respect, so it happened and it kept happening.”

Giving evidence, Jordyn had sobbed as she told how Hauberts and Aleksanders held a party at a flat in Glasgow for her 15th birthday in June 2015 and raped her.

She said in evidence that she was intoxicated and falling in and out of sleep.

Rudevics raped her at another flat in the city the following month after Gindra brought her there to be exploited.

She said she went with men she knew as Aivars and Ailands and other men to a ground floor flat. Jordyn said after drinking alcohol she felt ill and went to a bedroom to lie down.

She said: “I remember seeing some people coming in. There were three or four people there.

“My clothes started to come off and I was too drunk to do anything. I remember people starting to have sex with me.”

Prosecutor Bernard Ablett asked her: “Who was having sex with you,” and she said: “I’m sure Ailands and Aivars.”

The men have continued to deny rape and have refused to apologise for the torment and abuse Jordyn endured.

Jordyn said: “They have shown no remorse and they are still denying it but the court believed me and not them and they are paying a price for what they did to me.”
