LIFE is changing quickly right now.

Just one week ago I was busy getting all steamed up about titles and relegation.

I was adamant that, however this crisis plays out, the football season would have to be played to an end before any team earns the right to be crowned champions.

Seven days on I must admit my entire sense of perspectiv­e has changed. As much as it pains me to say it, I’ve realised now that there will be no more football. Not this season. Not for months. To be honest, it’s hitting me hard too. I’ve grown up only knowing one thing in my life. Now it has been taken away, I must admit I’m absolutely lost without it.

I don’t know what to do with myself around the house. When I should be writing training schedules and working on my team selection as manager of Kelty Hearts, I’m glued to the TV watching the world grind to a standstill.

It’s terrifying to see how quickly everything is changing all around us, sometimes on an hour-by-hour basis. So, no, I’m not feeling just as passionate as I was about how we sort this season out.

If truth be told, as far as the game in this country is concerned, I’m just keeping my fingers crossed as many of our clubs as possible manage to tough it out over the next while and are still around when this pandemic is finally under control.

Most of all, though, I’m worried sick about my mum and dad and concerned about the health of all my family, friends and loved ones.

It’s all starting to feel much more real than it did just a few days ago. Suddenly
