Covering his tracks

Ian thinks he’s got rid of the evidence but is Dotty one step ahead of him?

- MUST SEE TV!

Walford’s hardest working lawyer, Ritchie, finds herself in an unusual position this week – Phil is in a police cell and for once, he’s prepared to tell the cops everything. Can she swoop in and change his mind?

If she can’t work her magic on Phil, Ian may need her help instead, as he certainly isn’t ready to make a full confession.

He thinks he won’t have to when he destroys the incriminating phone and revels in throwing Dotty out. But it seems he’s made a mistake in underestimating Nasty Nick’s daughter as she surprises him with her next move.

After Vinny clocks Dotty’s bad mood and encourages her to open up, she heads over to the Beales’, ready to goad Ian – and deliver a threat. And she may not be easy for Ian to get away from as his son Bobby has developed a crush on her.

Over at the Vic, an estate agent arrives to carry out a valuation. Linda feels guilty when she notices how deflated Mick is and suggests they can stay in the pub – she just won’t work behind the bar. A drunken Billy later helps them to see that Linda’s sobriety and their marriage are more important than the business but how will Shirley and Linda react when they learn the couple are selling up? The Carters aren’t the only ones contemplating a fresh start as Karen considers moving away from Walford. Billy is upset at the thought, but Mitch suggests that he and Bailey could come with her. Karen is touched, until Mitch drops a bombshell.

Meanwhile, Chantelle throws herself into her job with the Panesars – anything has to be better than being at home with Gray – and Vinny hatches a plan to start a business.
