Clever way to fill your Books

Samsung’s new laptops are a big Flex in the world of tech

-

SAMSUNG is launching two new laptops with a clever trick up their sleeves.

The latest Galaxy Book Flex and Galaxy Book Ion arrive with a QI wireless charger hidden under the trackpad.

That means when your phone is running low on juice, these laptops will give it an instant refill without requiring any annoying cables.

Along with that battery boosting tech, you’ll be treated to Samsung’s QLED displays, which are not only pin sharp but also feature a bright mode for working in the sunshine.

Other bonus extras packed inside include fast Intel processors, a fingerprint scanner for quick access to your files and fast refilling batteries that last for almost 20 hours.

If you buy the Galaxy Book Flex, you get a clever design which flips over so it can be used just like a tablet. And, to make things more useful, Samsung has tucked a Galaxy Note-style pen inside the case so you can draw and scribble on the screen without using your finger.

If you fancy one of these Windows-powered PCs the Galaxy Book Flex costs £1349 while the Ion is £1249.

There is one final addition to Samsung’s range of laptops, with a new Galaxy Book S also going on sale. Samsung now produces two versions of this portable PC with a Qualcommpowered model and the newer version getting its brains from Intel. The Korean firm says that the Qualcomm Book S remains ideal for those who want the ultimate battery life and constant connectivity as it includes a 4G mobile connection. If you want a bit more grunt and improved compatibility with apps, the Intel version could be a better choice. Both include an ultra-thin design, 13.3-inch screen and cost £999.
