KENDALL’S A GOLDEN GIRL

-

BY RICK FULTON SUPERMODEL Kendall Jenner wants to make her “Dad proud” by competing in the Olympics.

Caitlyn, 70, was Bruce Jenner before she announced her transition in July 2015. As Bruce, he won the gold at the men’s decathlon event at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.

Now Kendall, 24, who still calls Caitlyn “Dad”, revealed she has been horseriding during the coronavirus quarantine.

She said: “I would love to be in the Olympics riding horses. I have two horses but I don’t get to ride as much as I used to, unfortunately. I’ve been able to go a bit during quarantine. If I could, I’d love to go the Olympics and keep that going in my family. My dad would be very proud.”

As lockdown eases around the world, surviving quarantine for Kendall has been all about cooking, cleaning and, of course, keeping up with the rest of the Kardashians.

The supermodel and social media influencer had her jet-set lifestyle well and truly grounded by the global pandemic but she’s made the most of it.

While the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner family are locked down with their families, single Kendall had only her pet greyhound Mew to keep her at the receiving end of Twitter hate when a photo of her holding up a Black Lives Matter placard didn’t have a shadow and many claimed she’d faked it. She said that she hadn’t posted the picture and it was clearly Photoshopped.

As a role model for millions of girls around the globe Kendall insisted she remains true to herself and asks her fans not to be too influenced by other people, especially on social media.

“I really, truly, believe in not trying to be someone else but just being the best version of yourself.

“I don’t think you need to try and be anybody else. That’s always what I am trying to remember, especially in today’s world of social media when you are looking at everyone and thinking everyone else’s lives are so perfect.”

And while many would say that’s exactly what the Kardashians do, Kendall is just happy they are there for her.

The model insisted: “I will always fight for my family. The best thing about having so many sisters is that you always have a friend. Also, if you ever need advice, there’s tons of people to call if one doesn’t answer.

“They are all pretty good at giving advice. I’m pretty blessed.”
