When you coming back to Aberdeen?
ASH TAYLOR does a weekly Zoom quiz with Jonny Hayes.
He knows the one question all Pittodrie supporters want their former winger to answer is: When is he re-signing for Aberdeen?.
The Dons are closing in on a deal that will see the Irish winger return to the Granite City on a two-year deal.
Defender Taylor played with the 32-year-old first time around and knows he could be a big player for the current side on and off the pitch.
Taylor said: “He is a player I do know well. I’ve played with him and against him.
“I’ve heard all the rumours but if the club can get something sorted out to bring in someone of Jonny’s calibre, it will be great for the team.
“I know what type of player he is, what he brings, what type of character he is and what he brings to the changing room.
“It would be fantastic for us but with the circumstances we’re in, you never know what

“He’s missed the last two to be fair so I haven’t spoken to him for a couple of weeks but me and the missus are on three wins in a row at the minute.
“We do 10 questions each and go from there.”
Taylor joked it was like getting the band back together, with Niall McGinn and himself already in their second Pittodrie spell.
The Englishman, who left for Northampton before he returned, knows that when you spend time at Aberdeen it pulls on the heartstrings.
Taylor said: “It is like we are getting all the band back together again.
“It is a fantastic club that looks after you both on and off the pitch.
“You feel part of the family when you come here.
“They make sure you are settled and make sure your family are okay as well.”
Taylor has been back in training with his Dons team-mates in a socially distanced environment at Cormack Park.
All the players and staff have also been tested for coronavirus.
Taylor said: “It’s socially distanced in twos in a quarter of the pitch. That’s the guidelines we’ve been given.
“You’re never close to anyone really.
“You’ve got to shout to one another. The training has been good in terms of keeping boys away from one another but at a distance where you can communicate about things if you need to.”
