MICHELLE Keegan has earned more than £4 million since she left Coronation Street... 66 times her original salary on the soap.

The 33-year-old made £60,000 a year as Weatherfield’s Tina McIntyre but her income has rocketed since she quit the cobbles in 2014.

Accounts from Michelle’s company, Rosia Promotions Limited, reveal that she cleared another £1.2 million in 2019 to add to the cash deposits already in her company account.

She registered her first million three years after leaving the show, and hasn’t looked back.

And the Our Girl and Brassic actress is making sure she enjoys her cash to the full; she and her husband, former TOWIE star Mark Wright, have just paid £1.3 million for a house in Essex just so they can demolish it to make way for a new mansion.

Michelle left the Street because ITV rules ban its stars from endorsing products such as cosmetics and clothes.

And since her departure, she has picked up a string of lucrative contracts which prove that she made the right financial decision.

A showbiz source said: “Michelle works incredibly hard and the rewards have come in for her.

“She had to turn down a number of lucrative deals while she was on Corrie because soap stars aren’t allowed to advertise.

“Now she is free to plug what she wants, and she is getting some good acting work too.”

Michelle has modelled clothes for Lipsy and Very and plugged beauty products for Ambre Solaire.

She also produces her own calendar and is in demand for personal appearances and glossy magazine shoots.

As well as Our Girl and Brassic, Michelle has played Tracy in the BBC’s Ordinary Lies, and England footballer Bobby Moore’s wife in the acclaimed ITV drama Tina and Bobby.
