I don’t care how we win title.. as long as we do

SERGIO AGUERO is facing a knee operation and a race against time to make Manchester City’s date with destiny in the Champions League.

The striker looks set to go under the knife in Barcelona this week after exacerbating a knee problem against Burnley.

But the club haven’t given up on him being fit to play in a European campaign set to finish at the end of August.

Aguero said: “It’s a pity but I’m in good spirits and focused to come back as soon as possible.”

JURGEN KLOPP is not looking for a fairytale finish to Liverpool’s season.

The Kop boss insists he isn’t bothered how or when they finally end their 30-year wait for the title ahead of tonight’s clash with Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Liverpool could have wrapped it up on home soil tonight had they beaten Everton in Sunday’s derby or Manchester City slipped up in either of their first two games back.

But City have strolled to two victories while the clash at Goodison ended in a stalemate.

Klopp said: “Honestly, if it will happen I don’t care too much where it will be. To be in a stadium, in a game with a decisive goal is not too bad and I had that twice. Winning the

Champions League Final and being in the stadium when that happens is pretty good as well.

“But again, life is not perfect so you have to deal with the circumstances and that is what we do. I don’t want to talk about what we do if we win it.

“I will feel what I feel and speak enough about it then if it happens. Until then I just don’t think about it.

“There is nothing to plan around it but people don’t bother me with that because I am not interested. I want to win games and if something happens we will react on that. The rest, I don’t care.”

Liverpool will win the title if they beat Palace and City fail to defeat Chelsea tomorrow.

If both sides win then the Reds could secure it a week tomorrow against City at the Etihad.

Klopp added: “It’s not about them catching us or whatever.

“The only thing I realised
