‘RAT’ NICK BLASTS BECK AT ‘DOUGHNUT’ BORIS IN RANT
BORIS BECKER and Nick Kyrgios have traded verbal volleys on social media after the German branded the Aussie a “rat”.
Kyrgios hit back by accusing the triple Wimbledon champion of being “not the sharpest tool in the shed” and a “doughnut”.
It kicked off when world No.40 Kyrgios called Alex Zverev “selfish” in an X-rated rant after the world No.7 was filmed at a Monte Carlo nightclub when he was supposed to be self-isolating.
Becker returned in defence of his fellow German, who took part in the Adria Tour event which saw world No.1 Novak Djokovic and others contract coronavirus.
The six-time Grand Slam champion, who also coached
Djokovic, tweeted: “Don’t like no #rats! Anybody telling off fellow sportsman/woman is no friend of mine! Look yourself in mirror and think your better than us.”
Kyrgios made his next point by replying: “For goodness sake Boris, I’m not competing or trying to throw anyone under the bus. It’s a global pandemic and if someone is as idiotic as Alex to do what he has done, I’ll call him out for it. Simple.”
Boom Boom Becker replied: “We all live in the pandemic called Covid-19! It’s terrible and it killed too many lives...we should protect our families/loved ones and follow the guidelines but still don’t like #rats.”
And Kyrgios returned: “Rats? For holding someone accountable? Strange way to think of it champion, I’m just looking out for people.
“You have a goose waving his arms around, imma say something. @TheBorisBecker is a bigger doughnut than I thought. Can hit a volley, obviously not sharpest tool in the shed though.”
