‘I won’t name any but I can’t cope with daytime shows where they’re all arguing and shouting’

Harry Judd

What have you been watching on television?

A lot of property programmes — not out of choice. Izzy loves things like Escape to the Country. The best show I’ve watched lately is the Sky drama Succession. At first I was thinking, ‘What’s going on? I’m not sure I like these characters’. By the end, it was, ‘Give me more, I need more’.

Do you have any TV guilty pleasures?

I really like Garden Rescue, where Charlie Dimmock and the Rich brothers pitch a new design to people. It’s not really a guilty pleasure because it’s a good show but maybe people expect me to be a bit cooler. The truth is, I’m quite into gardening these days.

Are you a binge-watcher?

Oh yes, massively. I’ve got nerve damage in my back which means I can’t sit for long periods. I found this thing online which hooks to the bed headboard and you can fit your iPad to it so I can lie down with the screen in front. I’ve recently watched The Last Dance, Tiger King, Game of Thrones and The Last Kingdom.

What won’t you watch?

I’m not going to name any but I can’t quite cope with daytime shows where they’re all arguing and shouting.

What are you working on?

I’m fronting a new campaign for Boots Soltan. A lot of my time is spent playing with the kids in the garden. My daughter is into make-believe so it’s like, ‘Right Daddy, you be the wizard and I’ll be the witch’. Izzy and I have just created a family pack with Soltan with lots of ideas for imaginative play.

Who would you say your children take after?

Personality wise, Kit takes after me and Lola is more like Izzy. Lola always aims to please and she’s just very sweet but quite bossy as well like her Mummy. And Kit is a very sensitive young man and a bit cheeky.

Will you try for baby No3?

That’s an ongoing conversation. It depends how the kids are being that day…

What’s your perfect night?

Sat on the sofa with a tray of food watching cricket highlights, or doing a gig with my band. We were supposed to be doing lots of shows this summer, and it’s something we’re looking forward to being able to do in the future. Soltan Imaginative Play Pack is free at Boots.com/soltan
