3 charged in care home abuse probe
THREE women have been charged after a police investigation into the alleged mistreatment of residents at a care home.
Officers revealed in May that they were examining complaints at Springvale Care Home in Lennoxtown, near Glasgow.
They said the probe was not related to Covid-19.
Police said yesterday: “In connection with the investigation relating to the alleged mistreatment of residents at Springvale Care Home in Lennoxtown, three women aged 55, 57 and 62 have been arrested and charged.
“Relevant families and partners have been made aware.”
