CHRISTOPHE­R JULLIEN says tackling superstar strikers such as Kylian Mbappe and Moussa Dembele is the perfect way to get right back to business.

The Celtic defender can’t wait to get into action again with preparatio­ns ramping up for the 2020/21 term.

Jullien and his colleagues are grafting at Loughborou­gh University but will head across the English Channel to his homeland next week for a trio of top-quality friendlies against Ligue 1 talent.

Neil Lennon’s troops will come against Lyon and Rennes before facing the might of PSG and some of the sharpest shooters in the game lurk dangerousl­y within those French ranks.

PSG hero Mbappe is amongst the game’s elite as a World Cup winner, while ex-Celtic striker Dembele is also destined for the top having been lethal at Lyon.

Normally, pre-season games start against lower-league or amateur minnows. This year, it’s right into the firing line.

But Jullien claims that’s ideal and said: “It’s perfect to face such good players in the beginning. You play football to face these teams and challenges.
