Wife breaks silence over troubled star

-

BY CHRISTOPHER BUCKTIN KIM Kardashian has opened up about husband Kanye West’s struggles with mental illness after the rapper ranted bizarrely on Twitter – but says she’s powerless to help him.

In one tweet West claimed he had been “trying to get divorced” from Kim since she met another rapper at a hotel in 2018.

The star also accused Kim and her mother Kris Jenner of “white supremacy”.

Referring to rapper Meek Mill, Kanye wrote: “I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek.

“Meek is my man and was respectful. That’s my dog Kim was out of line.”

Meek and Kardashian both attended a Criminal Justice Reform Summit at a hotel in Los Angeles in November 2018.

Another tweet from West read: “Kris and Kim put out a statement without my approval… that’s not what a wife should do. White supremacy.”

He also made wild claims Michael Jackson, who died in 2009, was murdered.

Kim told fans online: “As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows know incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand.

“I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of my Kim’s

mum Kris Jenner children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health.

“But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.

“Those that understand mental illness... know that the family is powerless unless the person is a minor.

“People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help, no matter how hard family and friends try.”

Kim spoke out following days of odd behaviour from Kanye, including a deeply personal revelation at a campaign rally as part of his bid to become president.

He told fans in North Charleston, South Carolina, that Kim almost aborted their daughter North in 2013.

The sobbing rapper said: “She had the pills in her hands. She was crying. And God said, ‘If you f*** with my vision, I’m going to f*** with yours’.

“And I called my girlfriend and said, ‘We’re going to have this child’.”
