G4S HELPS WORKERS

-

FIRMS are using thermal cameras to help employees return to work, says security giant G4S. The devices, used to detect high temperatures as a possible sign of Covid-19, are among measures it is helping business customers deploy.

The new work helped shares in G4S jump yesterday, despite half-year profits dipping from £141million to £137m.

G4S announced more than 1100 job losses in its cash-handling arm earlier this month. It follows a sharp fall in cash use, fuelled by shops shutting and people wary of touching notes. up 4.3 at 6211.4
