ACTOR John Saxon has died at the age of 83.
Saxon’s wife, Gloria, confirmed he had died of pneumonia at home in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on Saturday.
He was best known for starring with Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon and appeared in several Nightmare On Elm Street movies.
A PAIR of pensioners have been left with a £3000 bill racked up by their young grandchild playing an online computer game.
Liz and Jim Harrison were shocked to discover the huge amount when they checked their online balance.
They signed granddaughter Abby, eight, up to gaming platform Roblox to keep her occupied through lockdown.
The website has about 100million users worldwide and is popular with children.
Roblox is free to download but young users are encouraged to buy virtual money – called Robux – to spend during play.
But if payment settings aren’t configured correctly when the account is set up, they can purchase Robux without limit.

She told us: “We got a huge shock when we saw the amount that had gone from our account – we initially feared we’d been the victims of scammers.
“It was only when we looked into the payments in detail that we saw lots of different and unusual amounts going out.
“We spotted they were all to Roblox and asked
Abby – she’s only young had no idea what was going on and said she’d kept buying things to use in the games.
“She didn’t realise the money was real and we didn’t realise the money was being spent until we set up online banking for the first time a few weeks ago.”
The Harrisons have been self-isolating at home in Alloa since the pandemic started.

ROBLOX is one of the most popular gaming platforms in the world with about 100million users. The website enables users – mainly children and teens – to play hundreds of games and build and share their creations. The initial sign-up is free but if players are serious, they need to buy Robux – the Roblox’s in-game currency. This is used to pay for things including special outfits or animations for characters, unique abilities in games, weapons and other useful objects.
Robux cost £4.59 for 400 and £8.99 for 800 and £18.49 for 1700.
Adopt Me! is one of the most played games on the site, where children adopt virtual pets like dragons, unicorns and giraffes and raise them.
