Why she ho her sweaty inspire othe

WHENEVER Jenni Falconer posts a photo of herself on social media, she doesn’t care about her hair, her make-up or even what she is wearing.

All she cares about is that the photo shows her “runner’s high”.

Former National Lottery presenter Jenni, 44, has been photographed on the red carpet in designer gowns.

She has posed for fashion magazines and been an underwear model.

But whenever Jenni appears in the media today, it’s more than likely when she’s been captured heading out on a run. And she doesn’t mind one little bit. Smooth radio presenter Jenni said: “There are often photographers waiting outside my work.

“Everyone else comes out of the radio station dressed up, make-up on and looking glam. “I come out in my running kit. “Perhaps I should go to work more appropriately dressed but, five out of six days a week, I like to run home.

“I’m happy to be seen in my running gear. It’s good for my daughter to know that I’m doing something active and being outside.

“I don’t care about things I cared about 20 years ago. I don’t worry about my image like I did then.”

Jenni, from Glasgow, said she often feels like a fool when she stops to take a photo of herself running.

Recent snaps have shown her on a run past the River Thames and Buckingham Palace.

She takes the pictures to inspire herself and others.

She said: “It’s embarrassing taking a selfie and people look at you when you’re doing it. But I feel so good during and at the end of a run, I don’t care how I look.

“If I look back at my own photos, it inspires me to go running again. It reminds me of how great I felt. “And hopefully my photos inspire other people too.” One person she has inspired to run is BBC newsreader Sophie Raworth. Sophie saw Jenni being interviewed after crossing the finishing line at the London Marathon 10 years ago. She heard her praise the personal helped her get in sh mile run, then contac for advice on starting
