by ALAN BROWN THESE shocking CCTV images show the latest attack in a criminal vendetta that forced a crusading councillor to stand down.
Graeme Campbell bravely stood up to crooks in his South Lanarkshire ward but in return was hit with repeated threats and attacks on his home.
Footage of the latest acid attack has been analysed by police, who are seeking witnesses who may be able to identify the masked man in distinctive Nike Air tracksuit bottoms and a hoodie who struck on August 16 at 3am.
The joggers have a large Nike logo on the leg and local people may have seen the offender wearing them in the months leading up to the attack.
The Daily Record can reveal the assaults on Tory councillor Graeme’s home are not the only ones to be investigated by police – all are thought to be the work of the same criminal gang. Officers have also looked into: ● The firebombing of a car at Brae Farm, Chapelton, in September last year. ●Another car set ablaze in the town in March this year. ●A series of threats and alleged assaults on locals.

The terrified couple were woken by the smash of glass and found their BMW cars had once again been vandalised.
