Devastated Mitch is determined to uncover truth about Chantelle’s death

It’s going to be an emotional week on the Square as Mitch and Karen return from their holiday to devastating news.

The last time Mitch saw Chantelle, he picked up on her fear, and his intuition strikes again when he realises that, even taking into account the tragic circumstances, there’s something not quite right between Gray and Kheerat.

His suspicions intensify when he realises that Kheerat has Chantelle’s memory box. Kheerat begins to explain that Chantelle was trying to leave her husband but he’s silenced by the arrival of Suki.

However, once he’s away from his mum and her disapproving glare, Kheerat opens up to Mitch and even puts forward his theory that Gray found out his wife wasn’t happy and that she was fatally hurt during a row. Will Mitch agree – and have the police come up with a similar version of events when they tell Gray they have new information?
