Zack, 23, mourned after scaffoldin­g fall tragedy

Anguished family’s ‘hearts broken’

THE family of a Scots who died in a fall from scaffoldin­g have said their hearts are broken.

Zack Fineman died in the accident in Glasgow’s Sauchiehal­l Street on September 18.

The 23-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say there are no suspicious circumstan­ces surroundin­g his death.

Loved ones paid tribute to Zack. One friend wrote: “Zack was like a brother to me. What a lovely guy. Gone but never forgotten. Rest in peace, my friend.”

Another added: “We are devastated for you all and will remember Zack as the quiet, kindhearte­d boy he was.”

Devastated family members shared photo tributes to Zack.

One relative posted: “Missing you already.. Love you, cousin.”

Another added: “Ourr hearts are broken.”

Police and paramedics­s raced to save Zack when the alarm was raised just before 6pm on September 18.

Emergency services were seen on the street near the Beresford Lounge complex, with scaffoldin­g sealing the section off at the junction to Garnet Street.

A report is to be submitted to ththe Procurator Fiscal. A Pol ice Scotland spspokesma­n said: “Police wwere called around 5.5.50pm on Friday, SeSeptembe­r 18, following ththe report that a man had fallen from scaffoldin­g on Sauchiehal­l Street, Glasgow. “Emergency services attended and a 23-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. “There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstan­ces surroundin­g the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
