MOVIE legend Sylvester Stallone has paid tribute to his larger-thanlife mum Jackie who has died at 98.

Jackie rose to fame in her own right in the US as an astrologer and women’s wrestling promoter and she also had a memorable stint in the British version of Celebrity Big Brother.

Rocky and Rambo actor Sylvester said his mum “always believed and encouraged her sons”.

The 74-year-old added: “She was the No.1 fan of Sly and Frank.

“She will be remembered for ever for her charisma and unconditional love.”

Jackie was also the brains behind rumpology, the practice of predicting someone’s future by looking at the lines in their bottom, similar to palm reading.

Her son Frank, 70, announced that his mum had died. He said: “My brothers and I lost our mother, Jackie Stallone.

“She was the mother to four children, Tommy, Sylvester, Frankie and my late sister Toni Ann.

“She was a remarkable woman working out every day… and fearless.”

Actor and singer Frank did not reveal the cause of death, but added: “She died in her sleep as shee had wished.

“It was hard notot to like her, she was a very eccentriccentric and flamboyant person. n.

“She never wore a mask, a true revoluvolutionary gal.

“My brother Syl-Sylvester took care ofof her like a queen n for all of her life. I will never be able to call my mom again or have her yell at me why I never got married. But we all loved her and her spirit to survive and prevail. I’ll miss you always, Mommy.”

Frank said he is drowning his emotions “in tears and too much vino”.

He added “when you’ve known someone 70 years” it is “tough and sad”.

Jackie was born in Washington DC in 1921. She ran away from home aged 15 to join the circus.

She went on to become a chorus girl in a nightclub and a hairdresser.

She was married three times. She had Sylvester and Frank with her first husband. Her daughter, actress Toni D’Alto, died of cancer in 2012 aged 48.

Jackie’s family said she had seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Her stint on reality show Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 4 in 2005 was brief but entertaining.

A surprise contestant, she waltzed in much to the shock of fellow housemate Brigitte Nielsen who was married to Sylvester in the 1980s.

Jackie and her former daughter-in-law had a famously frosty relationship.

Upon seeing the new arrival, a stunned Brigitte exclaimed: “Oh my God… Jackie.Jackie.” WeWearing a fur coat and sunglasses, Sly’sS mum casually replied: “YeahYeah… Jackie.” She wwas evicted from the hohouse four days later aafter clashes with racing pundit John McCririck.
