HOW IT WORKS
The WW programme works because it’s flexible and liveable. Some feel it’s freeing to have a long list of go-to ZeroPoint foods and to not have to track as many foods, while others prefer to use their Budget to portion and track the majority of what they eat.
Some people find variety in having more ZeroPoint foods, while others find variety when they have more SmartPoints® to spend on foods.
And others feel comfortable somewhere in the middle.
That’s because when it comes to losing weight, everyone’s needs are different. So for the first time ever, we’re offering three ways for you to experience the journey, with myWW.
We refer to these different approaches – or food plans – as Green, Blue, and Purple.
All three WW plans are built on the scientifically proven WW foundation: SmartPoints and ZeroPoint foods.
The SmartPoints system is the same for each plan, and SmartPoints are calculated based on calories, saturated fat, protein and sugar.
You will still receive a personalised daily and weekly SmartPoints Budget based on your goals. And up to four unused daily SmartPoints can roll over into your weekly Budget. Each plan also has ZeroPoint foods that form the foundation of a healthy eating pattern and have a low risk for overeating. ■ ■ ○With Green, you’ll have 100+ ZeroPoint foods that you don’t have to measure or track and a sizeable SmartPoints Budget. ■ ■ ○Blue is the WW Freestyle you know today. It has 200+ ZeroPoint foods and a moderate SmartPoints Budget. So those who are loving WW Freestyle can keep following it! ■ ■ ○With Purple, you’ll have 300+ ZeroPoint foods and a modest SmartPoints Budget.

GREEN: For those who eat out regularly and like to grab and go, Green offers a daily SmartPoints Budget of a minimum 30 plus 100+ ZeroPoint fruits and veggies to choose from.
BLUE: If you like cooking but also enjoy the occasional ready-meal, Blue gives a daily SmartPoints Budget of a minimum of 23 and 200+ ZeroPoint ingredients. On top of fruit and veggies, these include lean protein, seafood, fat-free dairy, beans and eggs.
PURPLE: Tailored for people who like to cook from scratch but don’t want to weigh or portion control their food, this gives a daily SmartPoints Budget of 16 and 300+ ZeroPoint foods which include wholegrain pasta and potatoes.
