RICH’S IN THE MONEY

- BY GARRY OWEN

CHARLIE ARTHUR (6:50) can headline a good evening for Richard Hughes on the all-weather at Southwell.

The gelding stretched his unbeaten record at the track to three when outbattling Kentucky connection in March. The four-year-old remains in form and should be primed after a cracking second to Myseven at Kempton.

Thriving Lambourn trainer Hughes can also take the opening sprint with BRENNER

PASS (5:20). The colt likes the venue and still lurks on a nice mark after his fair fifth to Shining at Lingfield.

Hughes can make it three with MACKELLY (7:20) in the Virgin 535 Handicap. Impressive here in August, the gelding ran a stormer when second to Evaporust over 1m 6f at Chelmsford.

The three-year-old remains nicely unexposed so he can resume the winning thread back down in trip.

RUN FORREST RUN (6:20) did it well at Chepstow and he can make a successful nursery bow for George Baker.

CAPLA CUBISTE (8:20)

rates a typical Sir Mark Prescott improver in the lucky last. The filly got off the mark when comfortably defeating Celestial Wood over seven furlongs here in August.

There should be plenty more to come from this pacy type who can follow up back over a mile.

PUBLICIST ( 3: 40) is well-worth punting in the competitive Betway Nursery at Lingfield.

James Tate’s filly put in a clear career best when edging out Twenty shares of grey in a decent event at Kempton.

The juvenile is open to progress over seven furlongs so she can take advantage of a cracking draw in stall one.

MIAELLA ( 4: 10) can complete a hat- trick for handler Chelsea Banham.

The mare has excelled over five furlongs so she can defy a stiff hike for slamming Jorvik

at Chelmsford.

Prince THUNDER FLASH (4:40)

can strike for Ian Williams in the trappy Betway Handicap.

Hughie Morrison is in reasonable form so I’m rowing in with BORN LEADER (5:40). She shaped like her turn was near when just outstayed by Beat The Heat at Nottingham.
