We believe we can win despite all the call-offs

- BY MARK WALKER

ISRAEL striker Moanes Dabbur has warned Scotland not to underestimate them despite the Covid-19 crisis robbing them of key players for the Euro 2020 showdown.

Scotland face the Israelis at Hampden on Thursday but the away side have seen their squad devastated by players testing positive for the virus and were depleted further with an injury to Celtic’s Nir Bitton.

However, £ 12million Hoffenheim striker Dabbur insists they will use the loss of their colleagues as motivation for their return to Hampden this week, after a 1-1 Nations League draw last month.

Dabbur said: “I speak for the whole squad when I say that everyone has been waiting for this game for a long, long time. “EEveryone is excited to finally get to play this game g after so many disappointments. di

“Of course our preparations pr have been different dif but everyone here he believes we can win it. Personally I believe we can win for sure.

“The loss of players hurts hur us, that’s no secret, and it’s a real shame we are missing so many important imp players. The main mai thing is they all get back to full health soon.

“BBut every squad suffers from injuries and pull-outs.

“WWe want to win this game gam for them and hopefully we will see them for the final next month.

“The situation motivates us. Everyone is upset that football has been stopped in Israel for now and I know this from my family there and my close friends.

“But we have a chance to lift the whole country with a win.

“Personally, I feel great and I have started the season well in Germany.”
