GA LAW OF THE LAND

- BY GARRY OWEN

GA LAW (2.30) can score for skilled trainer Jamie Snowdon in the Racing TV Handicap Chase at Exeter.

The gelding looked a smart recruit to fences when routing Gateway To Europe on debut at Fontwell last month. That race is working out well so this exciting type can follow up under the excellent Daryl Jacob.

FUBAR (1.30) should open his account for Kim Bailey in the opening conditionals’ hurdle. The gelding is open to progress over 2m 4f after his excellent second to the experienced Pammi at Perth.

ALFIE’S ANGEL (4.00) can soar for skilled trainer Milton Bradley in the handicap hurdle.

The unexposed six-year-old shaped like his turn was near when chasing home Plenty Of Butty at Fontwell.

Oliver Sherwood’s MONKEY PUZZLE (4.30) can shade a trappy novices’ handicap chase.

The eight-year-old showed the benefits of wind surgery when edging out the useful Flying Verse at Fontwell.

The gelding remains nicely unexposed over fences so he can strike again for his ultrashrewd handler.

BREGUET BOY (1.05) should extend Keith Dalgleish’s winning streak on a tricky card at Ayr. The gelding put in a clear personal best when comfortably defeating Cruising over a mile at Hamilton.

The four-year-old was doing all his best work late so he can repeat that success over an extra two furlongs.

David Barron is also in fair form so I’m backing SORBONNE (1.40) in the Ayrshirecs.org Handicap.

The in-form gelding still lurks on a workable mark after his close second to Bringitonboris over track and trip.

DANZAN (2:10) should bag a well-deserved win in the Western House Hotel Handicap.

Tim Easterby’s sprinter can prevail with any repeat of his cracking third to Roulston Scar at Nottingham. The handler can double-up with UGO GREGORY (3.10) who bolted up over course and distance recently.

SIENNA DREAM (2.40) can finally get her head in front for Borders handler Alistair Whillans.

SMART LASS (3.40) is also my pick to enhance Dumfries trainer Iain Jardine’s superb record at this venue.

The five-year-old won’t mind stepping up in trip after slamming Peerless Percy over 1m 4f at Musselburgh.
