Tennant and wife admit they’re unlikely couple

DAVID DAVI Tennant and his wife Georgia Georg have admitted they are aan unlikely couple and only got together because she “worked hard” to woo him. The Th pair, who married in December Dece 2011 and have five children, chil told how their youngest youn baby Birdie almost died weeks after birth but was savedsave by the NHS. Tennant, T 49, who played the 10th Doctor, wed Georgia, – whow is the daughter of fifth DoctorDo Peter Davison – after theyth met in 2008. On the relationsh­ip, Georgia, G 35, said: “I very much m forced it into happening, h didn’t I? I was very much the driving force. Had I not worked quite so hard, it might not have happened.

“I just mean, you couldn’t believe that was why I was messaging you 400 times a day.

“You thought maybe I was lonely and wanted a chat. I very much fell into stalker category.”

Tennant responded: “That makes it sound like I was resistant though, which was not what happened.

“I thought we were an unlikely life partnershi­p, I suppose. There is a bit of an age gap isn’t there. But now we are both so old.”

Tennant met his future wife when she appeared as the Doctor’s cloned daughter in a 2008 episode of the BBC series.

The pair told That Gaby Roslin Podcast how their daughter Birdie, who was born last year, could have died after spending time in intensive care.

Georgia said: “At the beginning we were like, ‘She’s fine, she just has a bit of a cold, it’s not a problem’, then within 24 hours of that, it was like, ‘ We are not fine’, and then within three days we are in intensive care.

“But because our NHS is amazing, they saved her and we got to go home again.”
