Next gen world of fun and games is one fur all family

ONE of the best fun-filled family games for the Playstation has always been Little Big Planet, which features Sackboy in an adventure all ages could enjoy.
The PS4 and new PS5 exclusive Sackboy: A Big Adventure is the latest offering from new developer Sumo Digital and offers players a new storyline for the iconic character that boasts charm and brilliance in parts, not to mention a stellar voice cast, with the likes of Dawn French and Richard E. Grant.
Artstyle has always been a big selling point of these games and now, on next gen consoles, it has never looked so good, with the gorgeous cinematics affording the player a look at every stitch and join in the character’s textured body.
The world in which Sackboy explores is made up of all sorts of textured materials including denim, fur, zip-locked doors and folded cardboard – it’s a
world of craft created by kids for kids.
Another great little add-on are the costumes for your character, ranging from a punk rocker complete with mohawk to a full blown Renaissance costume.
Sackboy is one of those games that you will keep going back to, with new ways of playing popping up to keep you hooked.
Playing on the PS5 added another dimension thanks to the haptic feedback on the new DualSense controller, which, like similar game Astro’s Playroom, augments even the smallest movements of Sackboy, as well as scenery interaction, like pulling cords or wading through the sticky gloop.
A game that offers plenty for the imagination of gamers both young and old, Sackboy: A Big Adventure makes great use of all the additions to the new PS5 and is a cute and enjoyable yarn that will give you about 10 hours of happiness.
