THE Scots actor who played boring Keith in The Office has revealed he applied for a job looking for a “Keith from The Office” – and didn’t get it.
Ewan MacIntosh became famous as the deadpan accountant in Ricky Gervais’s sitcom, which ran from 2001 to 2003.
Ewan, 46, told the Almost Famous podcast: “A thing came through for an advert for Norwich
Union and on the brief they said, ‘We want a sort of Keith from The Office character’.
“I went along – and I didn’t get it. Similar things happened a couple of times.”
Ewan also revealed that he’s still making money from The Office.
He added: “When lockdown happened this fad of video messaging, Cameo and CelebVM, took off. I’m doing that a lot.”
