It avoids negative and paid reviews and does not sell on user data. Instead it focuses on personal and favourable-only recommendations for places to eat, drink and sleep worldwide.
The information is supplied by a community of friends and trusted partners, and users can get tips for venues in their local area or their next holiday destination and make plans with mates via the chat facility.
Expert partners include easyJet Traveller and National Geographic Traveller UK magazines and Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens.
TWISPER is Swiss-based but English language and free on Apple and Android devices.
