United we stand
JUST a thought, but if Scotland became independent and the monarch was retained, we would still be part of a united kingdom – although outside the United Kingdom.
In reality, we are on a small group of islands of common ancestry, division lines will always be a bit artificial and transitory through time.
If the UK splits up into various parts, in time it will coalesce again – as it is simply logical and makes sense.
