Accies are United in bid to turn season around

-

CALLUM SMITH insists a win at Dundee United can help lift Hamilton out of the doldrums.

The Accies striker believes recent criticism of the Premiership’s bottom side can be used as an incentive to get back on track at Tannadice.

Smith also believes delivering a win for boss Brian Rice would be payback for a manager who’s had their back since a 8-0 loss at Ibrox and a dismal Betfred Cup exit.

He said: “If we go to Tannadice and get a win or a draw then anything can happen, it could all change just like that.

“We want to get the win for the boss and ourselves. I’ve loved every minute of working with the gaffer.”
