HOW will Malky Mackay’s time as SFA performance director be remembered?

IT should be viewed as a success. Scotland have made strides at youth level and there’s a serious amount of talent coming through that will hopefully make the grade at the top level.

WITH a shrug. He might have been doing great work behind the scenes with the likes of Project Brave but the fact the SFA are considering not having a performance director makes you wonder if they ever needed one.

PROBABLY negatively on the outside. But I believe the production line of young talent has taken a step forward in the last few years and the performance schools have played a vital part in that.
