Shane spreads Jam on karaoke toast

-

SHANE Richie made a song and dance about going to the I’m A Celebrity pub – as he kick-started the night with karaoke.

The actor performed The Jam’s A Town Called Malice after the final eight contestants made it into the Castle Inn – where they were greeted with a pub table and chairs and “pub grub”.

Jordan North drank some Guinness and was over the moon.

The celebrities toasted Hollie, Ruthie, Beverley and Victoria. Talking in the Telegraph, Jordan said: “I said to myself, ‘Jordan, do not do karaoke, Jordan, you can’t sing, Jordan, you can’t dance, don’t do karaoke’. I had every intention, every fibre of being in my body had every intention not to get up to sing tonight.”

But moments later he was belting out I will survive by Gloria Gaynor.

Afterwards Mo and Shane sang Spandau Ballet’s Gold, Giovanna and Vernon sang and danced their way through Backstreet Boy’s Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).

And Jessica led the group in a rendition of Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas.

TESS Daly says she is “barely sleeping” due to worrying about husband Vernon Kay in the castle. Strictly host Tess, 51, said: “I worry about him being cold and not eating. I don’t think I have slept more than five or six hours since he has been in there. The other night, I dreamt I was doing a trial with Claudia with snakes.” Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, Tess added of their two daughters: “They love it. Phoebe, our 16-year-old, watches it every night with me. Amber, who is 11, isn’t allowed to stay up that late. They miss him, they haven’t seen him for four and a half weeks now.”
