The sculpture the princes commissioned will be presented on what would have been her 60th birthday.

Harry has told friends he intends to be there, although Meghan will most likely be absent due to the impending arrival of their second child, which they revealed will be a girl. Kate will also plan to be at the ceremony.

The princes have not been seen together since an uncomfortable March 2020 encounter at Westminster Abbey. Harry signalled to Oprah his wish for a reconciliation, saying, “Time heals all things, hopefully”.

He added: “I love William to bits.

THIS is the cherry on the cake of a very upsetting week, particularly for Diana fans. The sons she adored, divided. Vague plans to speak in the future but, as yet, despite an enormous five days for their family, no contact. It’s heartbreaking.

Diana’s boys have always been very much a double act. Playmates as children and then united by the devastating blow life dealt them aged 15 and 12.

No one but each other could truly understand what they had been through.

He’s my brother and we’ve been through hell together.

“We have a shared experience, but we were on different paths.”

The Queen is understood to be planning to contact Prince Harry in the coming days to try to calm tensions after the explosive interview. The head of state insisted

BY CHRIS HUGHES PRINCE HARRY is one of the most “at-risk royals” because of his service in the British military, security experts have confirmed.

Although he was born into the risk of kidnap or worse, his time as an Army officer and Apache pilot in Afghanistan make him a top terror target.

Almost 10 years ago, a senior Taliban fighter admitted his men had plotted to target Harry “many times” during his tours there.

Qari Nasrullah, an Afghan Taliban leader, said: “There were many plans to capture him, maybe it was his good luck he managed to escape.”

Yesterday, former SAS soldier Bob Craft said: “As a royal, Prince Harry is clearly a target for kidnapping, terrorism and a range of threats.

“But his military service adds to that enormously. He will need some form of security for a long time, particularly as it is known he served in Afghanistan and was a target.”

It is also feared that while living in America Prince Harry may face other threats.

Ex-Parachute Regiment soldier and security expert Paul Biddiss, military adviser to film directors, said: “Harry did not choose to be a threat, he was born into it as a royal. His service, particularly in Afghanistan presents obvious threats from terrorism.

“But in America, as we have seen recently, there are also conspiracy theorists, fringe groups, far right-wing networks, all kinds of armed groups who could be a threat.

“Harry will need to be protected as he is one of the, if not the most under-threat royals there are.”

A senior former military intelligence officer who also served in the Army said: “If he has chosen his new life in America it is likely he should foot the bill for his security, which he will definitely need.” the family would investigate claims of racism, but appeared to lay down a challenge to the Sussexes’ version of events.

In a statement issued by Buckingham Palace, on behalf of Her Majesty, she said: “While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be married Meghan, we had The Fab Four… for a while, anyway. Now everything is broken, splintered off into different directions, the distance between the brothers apparently far wider than the ocean which physically separates them.

Of all the hopes we hold for this family, all the healing that needs to take place, this rift being repaired must be a priority.

Just because it sounds trite doesn’t mean it isn’t true: this is not what she would have wanted.

Qari Nasrullah addressed by the family privately.” Insiders revealed William would “take the lead from his grandmother” before speaking to his brother.

Despite the furore, William and Kate concentrated on their duty to yesterday promote her Mentally Healthy Schools project.

The royal couple were welcomed to the school by co-head teachers Stephanie Shaldas and Edmund Coogan and were soon introduced to some of the school’s youngest pupils.

Kate, in a pink Max & Co coat, knelt down to talk to children in a pop-up cafe, while William helped a little girl build a wall in the playground.

He joked he had been taking orders from the construction manager.

“I was just doing what I was told,” he said to laughter from teachers.

A spokesman for the Sussexes declined to comment.
