Surprise wedding falls flat as Whitney finds out about fiance’s prison plan
Kush is planning a surprise wedding for Whitney but, as always, Gray is there to bring the mood down, reminding him that by accepting the Mitchells’ deal, he’ll be going away for a long time.
Realising that it probably won’t be the best start to married life, Kush goes to tell the Mitchells the deal is off. Unfortunately, while he’s doing that, Kat is busy explaining to Whitney that the arrangement with Phil will set her and Kush up for life, unaware Whitney knows nothing about it.
So, when Kush later tells his fiancée about the wedding, she wants to know why he didn’t tell her what else he was up to. Devastated, Kush runs out but returns in time for his plea hearing. Will he patch things up with Whitney and is Phil right to be feeling nervous about his next move?
At the Vic, Mick realises he’s forgotten Frankie’s birthday when he finds a card from Katy in the bin. He promises to make it up to her and, after seeing the ease with which Sharon explains her complicated family relationships, Mick decides her party is the perfect opportunity to publicly declare that he’s Frankie’s father. But as he’s sharing the news, his other daughter, Nancy, walks in. Elsewhere, Karen is worried about how to make ends meet but Tiffany is flush with cash thanks to the credit-card scam.
However, it seems one unlucky punter is on to her – and he wants his cash back.
