FORMER Rangers chairman Charles Green returned to the spotlight and lived up to his ‘Big Mouth’ moniker with an incredible scattergun rant at the weekend.

Nobody was safe from the Yorkshirem­an’s blast as Allan McGregor, Steven Davis, Douglas Park and even the police all got it in the neck.

Eddie Easson, Ballingry, said: “Just when you thought he had gone, back comes Mr Green firing from the hip and taking aim at Ibrox. Truth or lies, who knows? We will wait with bated breath for a response from Rangers.”

Green claimed Rangers only owed £20million in 2012 when the Inland Revenue blocked a CVA proposal – as opposed to £150m.

Martin Leggat emailed: “One of the main areas Mr Green is wrong is in relation to debt. He says the taxman dropped the big tax bill so the total debt would only have been £20m.

“The taxman only dropped the bill as they had no chance of getting their money back, so total debt would still have been well above what he states.”

On to Celtic and Frank McFerran, Carrickfer­gus, said: “Celtic seem to have found a gem in Kyogo Furuhashi. If he keeps playing like he has started he’ll be gone by next season.”
