RANGERS

ALLAN McGREGOR 6 Clocked up 90th Euro appearance for Gers. Little to do other than make an early hurried clearance. JAMES TAVERNIER 6 Still not playing with verve and vigour of last season. Nothing wrong with desire. Assist for Morelos was terrific. CONNOR GOLDSON 6 Couple of dangerous looking diagonals to Kent early on. Defensively had to be alert on occasion. Couple of headers off target. FILIP HELANDER 6 One shocking pass right on half-time summed up his team’s sloppiness but never troubled too much. CALVIN BASSEY 7 Big night for the youngster. Had penalty claim just before the break. Showed desire many lacked. JOHN LUNDSTRAM 3 Looked to be growing into game when booked and compounded that with second yellow. Let his team down. STEVEN DAVIS 7 Yet again, one of the few trying to stay calm as anxiety built. Second half he controlled tempo more effectively. JOE ARIBO 6 Didn’t have usual influence in first half but plenty of ball winning and picked up performance after break. IANIS HAGI 7 Floated in and out of game in first half but showed much more energy, desire and creativity after the break. ALFREDO MORELOS 6 Did next to nothing for an hour apart from miss a great chance but kept his head to score the vital goal. RYAN KENT 4 Hit bar but should have scored. Next to nothing came off for a player who looks shorn of real confidence.
