Woman smashes up car with a hockey stick
A TOP lawyer has had his luxury white Lamborghini smashed up in a frenzied attack by woman with a hockey stick. An eye witness has told how an angry female was spotted carrying out the vandalism on the luxury motor at a law firm’s plush office complex. The sports car was parked in a space belonging to Mark Hendrie, managing director of Ralph Hendrie Legal, in the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh on Wednesday. A photograph of the high-end white Lamborghini Huracan which costs around £170,000, shows the front windscreen smashed and shattered. One eyewitness to the attack told the Daily Record they saw an “angry woman” with a hockey stick carrying out the attack and smashing it to bits.
Another eyewitness who saw the vandalised vehicle said: “I saw a big white sports car as I was coming around the corner into the car park that lies under the building.
“It is parked in Mark Hendrie’s space and his name is marked on a plaque on the wall. I noticed the window was done in then had a quick look around to see if there was any other damage but it didn’t look like there was.
“The front of the car also didn’t appear to have a registration plate on it.”
They added: “How much force does it take to do in a Lamborghini?
“Your guess is as good as mine but I assume it must have been hit at some force.”
When contacted by the Daily Record at his office and asked for a comment, Mark said he would provide us with a statement about his expensive car being damaged.
However, he has not yet given us a comment and has stopped responding to our calls.
It is not known when the damage was caused nor has it been confirmed who was responsible for the attack
Police Scotland were unable to find a report of the incident.
Ralph Hendrie Legal launched on Friday 1, February 2019, with Mark Hendrie at the helm as managing director.
Mark, formerly managing director of Clancy Hendrie Legal and partner at Boyd Legal, is described on the firm’s website as having “a wealth of property experience and has built exceptional client and intermediary relationships along the way.”
Ivan Ralph, one of the founding partners of McEwan Fraser Legal in 2009, is the firm’s managing partner.
