Model suffers jaw break and split eye in alleged assault
KATIE Price was yesterday taken to hospital with a suspected broken jaw and a split eye after an alleged attack.
Police arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of assault after they were called to an address in Essex by paramedics at about 1am. A source close to the mum-of-five model said: “Katie is OK, but it’s quite a serious altercation that’s happened. “She is currently working with the police.” Another insider added: “Katie is, understandably, utterly devastated. “She was taken to hospital in an ambulance where she was treated for a suspected jaw fracture and split eye.” Police said they were asked to go to an address in Little Canfield, Essex, by paramedics in the early hours of yesterday. A spokesman added: “We arrived and found a woman had sustained a facial injury which required hospital treatment. “A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody.” Katie is this week starring in the latest Celebrity MasterChef, which was shot in advance. The 43-year-old last posted on social media on Sunday when she shared an image taken by her fiance Carl Wood showing the couple messing about with her youngest children Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven. She began dating the former Love Island contestant in June last year and announced their engagement this April. Six weeks earlier, her divorce from third husband Kieran Hayler had been finalised. Katie is just back from Turkey after more cosmetic surgery on her face and body. She said: “I want to feel good on camera.” Her representatives have been contacted by our reporters.
