ABERDEEN

JOE LEWIS 6 It could have been a lot worse had it not been for the big keeper. He had no chance with any of the goals. CALVIN RAMSAY 6 Showed more in the second period in an attacking sense but big learning curve for youngster. Set-plays were danger, won penalty. DECLAN GALLAGHER 5 Scotland ace tried hard but struggled against pace and movement Qarabag had at the top end. Won’t get many tougher nights. ROSS McCRORIE 5 Left exposed like rest of his backline. It was hard for him in the first period but improved after the break. JACK MacKENZIE 5 Young full-back found it tough defensively and going forward. Set-plays poor for the second consecutive game against Qarabag. TEDDY JENKS 3 On-loan Brighton midfielder had a quiet night. Given runaround by Qarabag’s movement, unable to stamp his own authority on game. SCOTT BROWN 4 Skipper tried to influence game but he was chasing shadows most of the night. He was booked for a foul and had to watch his step late on. LEWIS FERGUSON 6 Big week with his 22nd birthday and his first Scotland call-up. Last night was an unwanted present that would have been a kick in the teeth. FUNSO OJO 6 Belgian was one of the better performers. Tried hard and was a constant option on right for Dons. CHRISTIAN RAMIREZ 4 Big US striker found it a hard shift as main striker through middle. Never really held it in and Dons didn’t get support to him quickly enough. JONNY HAYES 6 No stranger to these nights. One of the better performers. Had Aberdeen’s first shot of note but it offered very little consolation.
