Keen prices for Genesis cars
THE new high-end Genesis G70 saloon will be competitively priced from £33,850 when it goes on sale next Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the GV70 SUV from the Korean luxury brand will be available from £39,450.
Genesis says both models offer dynamic performance and distinctive premium design combined with world-class safety features and an unparalleled customer-focused ownership experience.
Their introduction follows the start of sales of the larger G80 and GV80 back in June.
The G70 is offered with a choice of two engines – a 2.0-litre petrol or 2.2-litre diesel. Both are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a rear-wheel-drive set-up.
There are three trim levels called Premium Line, Luxury Line and Sport Line. The entry price is for a petrol Premium Line and the range tops out at £40,480 Sport Line petrol variant.
The GV70 has a similar model name line-up but features all-wheel-drive, a larger 2.5-litre petrol unit and the same diesel and transmission offerings.
So the diesel Premium Line is the entrylevel model, while the top-end petrol Sport Line costs £43,350.
The marque says customers need never visit a dealer again, with home pick-up and delivery at every step and a five-year, hassle-free care plan.
Genesis Motor Europe boss Dominique Boesch said: “The G70 saloon and GV70 SUV are two luxury performance vehicles representing a decade’s worth of development that will significantly strengthen our offering for customers.”
