Jaguar makes executive machines even more enticing

-

JAGUAR is enhancing the appeal of its XF executive express with the introduction of a new R-Dynamic Black model for both the saloon and estate.

Meanwhile, the more compact XE R-Dynamic Black, introduced last year, gains an enhanced specification. The result is that these exclusive models have an even greater road presence to match the reputation the premium British marque has of making cars that are a joy to drive.

The XF’s Black Pack sees a gloss black finish applied to the door mirror caps and side sills in addition to the grille area, side window surrounds, fender vents, rear badges and – on the Sportbrake – the roof rails.

There’s also privacy glass and a panoramic roof – features that are now standard on the XE R-Dynamic Black, too. Complementing these elements are gloss black 19in wheels with red brake calipers.

The XE R-Dynamic Black is offered in a choice of metallic finishes – Firenze Red, Bluefire, Eiger Grey,

Santorini Black or new Ostuni White, with the XF R-Dynamic Black models available in the full range of colours.

Inside, both feature special veneers – Gloss Grey Figured Ebony for the XE and Satin Charcoal Ash for the XF. Bright metal pedals add a further finishing touch. Th XF also gets an enhanced Premium Cabin Lighting featur which offers 30 colour choices in place of the previous 1

Both cars also get the improved, fast, intuitive and responsive Pivi Pro infotainment system, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto becoming part of the package soon thanks to software-over-the-air updates.

The R-Dynamic Black models are powered by Jaguar’s mild-hybrid 204PS 2.0-litre diesel engine with an eightspeed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.

Available to order now, the XE variant is priced from £33,470 on the road, the XF saloon (pictured) costs £37,5 and the estate £39,395.
